In April 2011, Mr. McCourt became the inaugural USC Annenberg Economist-in-Residence, and devoted a four-day slate of events at the school to convening formal lectures, classroom visits, and targeted conversations about the economic contours of communication businesses. The Economist-in-Residence program is a capstone programming feature of the M{2e} Media, Economics & Entrepreneurship initiative at USC Annenberg.
